Terms of Service

These are the terms for using ChairPilot Pro. Plain English, and short enough to actually read. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. Who this is between

This agreement is between you (or the business you sign up on behalf of) and MacappDevelops LLC, which operates ChairPilot Pro at chairpilotpro.com. If you are signing up for a company, you are confirming you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

2. Your account

• You need to be 18 or over and give accurate details.
• Keep your password to yourself and turn on two-factor authentication. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got in.
• Accounts are per business. Sharing one login around to avoid paying for the seats you need is not on — each person who uses the product should have their own account.

3. Free trial

New accounts start on a free trial with no card required. When it ends you can subscribe, or not — we will not charge you automatically for something you never bought. Your data stays put while you decide.

4. Paying

• Subscriptions are month-to-month and renew automatically until you cancel.
• Payment is taken by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars unless we say otherwise.
• We may change pricing, but not without telling account owners in advance. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
• Taxes, where they apply, are on top.

5. Cancelling and refunds

Cancel any time from the Billing page. You keep full access to the end of the period you have paid for, and then the account moves to a paused state — your data is not deleted at that moment. We do not generally refund part-months, but if something went genuinely wrong on our side, write to us and we will sort it out fairly.

6. If your account lapses

If a trial ends without a subscription, or a payment fails, or an account is suspended, access to most of the product is paused until it is resolved. Two things always keep working: Billing, so you can fix it, and Support, so you can reach a human. Your data is retained — ask us and we will get you an export even while the account is paused.

7. Your data is yours

You keep every right to the records you put into ChairPilot Pro. You grant us only the narrow permission we need to host, back up, display and process them so the service works for you. We do not sell your data, we do not use your business records to train anything, and we will not use them for our own purposes. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.

You are responsible for having the right to hold the information you put in, and for handling any personal information in it lawfully — including telling the people concerned what you do with it.

8. Using it sensibly

Don't use ChairPilot Pro to break the law, to send spam or content you have no right to send, to store material that infringes someone else's rights, to attack or probe the service or anyone else's account, to get around plan limits or billing, or to resell the product as your own. We can suspend an account that is causing harm; where we reasonably can, we will warn you first and explain why.

9. Availability

We work hard to keep ChairPilot Pro up, and we take frequent automatic backups. We do not promise uninterrupted service: things break, providers have outages, and occasionally we take the service down briefly to deploy. There is no formal uptime guarantee on these plans.

10. Support

Support is by email and through the in-app support desk, and it stays open even if your account is paused. We aim to answer quickly and in person. Write to [email protected] — or just reply to any email we send you.

11. Changes to the service

The product changes; that is the point of a subscription. We add and improve things continually. If we ever need to remove something you depend on, we will give account owners reasonable notice by email and at chairpilotpro.com.

12. The legal necessities

No warranties. ChairPilot Pro is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that it will meet every requirement you have.

Limit of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, MacappDevelops LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.

Not professional advice. ChairPilot Pro is a tool for running your business. It is not legal, tax, accounting or other professional advice, and the figures and records it produces are yours to check.

Indemnity. You agree to cover us against claims arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms or of the law.

13. Ending it

You can stop using ChairPilot Pro and close your account whenever you want. We can end this agreement if you materially breach these terms, or if we stop offering the service — in which case we will give you reasonable notice and a way to get your data out.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of [STATE] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and both sides agree to try to sort it out directly first.

15. The rest

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. Not enforcing something straight away doesn't mean we have given it up. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business. These terms, plus the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about ChairPilot Pro.

16. Changes to these terms

We will post any update here with a new date at the top, and tell account owners by email when a change is significant. Continuing to use ChairPilot Pro after that means you accept the updated terms.
